On June 19, 2019, the Russian customer visited our factory to inspect the
CNC heavy duty lathe which they ordered.
This
CNC heavy duty lathe model is CK61140/5000, with swing over bed 1400mm, distance between centers 5000mm, max. load weight 10 ton. According to customer’s request, this
CNC heavy duty lathe is equipped with SINUMERIK 828D with embedded Russian language.
The Russian customer checked the lathe’s CNC system, chuck, the dimension, the attachment of the lathe and so on. They had an understanding of all the warning signs and the electric component of the cabinet. Our engineer showed the customer how to operate the lathe machine through the Siemens system. We had prepared a workpiece similar to customers’ workpiece for the turning testing. We also showed the cooling system of the lathe, the function of the alarm light and the method of locking the guard cover.
We measured the precision of the lathe again by the RENISHAW laser interferometer according to the Russian customer’s request on the designated position. After measurement, the positioning error and repositioning error for both X axis and Z axis are only 50% of national standard. The Russian customer was very satisfied with the accuracy measurement results.
The Russian customer was very pleased with our production capability and quality. This inspection of the lathe machine had been completed successfully.
